Here, you can see the equipment I use for my home theater setup.





Sony STR-DE685 (Receiver)

- This is the receive I use. It is from 2002, and it has Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, DTS, as well as Sony's very own Digital Cinema Sound, with 3 sound stages to choose from.
- I have the Sony UBP-X700 plugged into this via the coaxial input, and my third PC is plugged in via the 'Multi-Channel In' ports with three RCA to 3.5mm adapters.
- I purchased this on eBay for $75, and for the features you get with it, it really is worth the price.











Aiwa SX-LM191 (x2, L & R)

- These are 2-Way Stereo Speakers. I use this for FL and FR.
- They have incredible sound, and look beautiful.
- I got these speakers on eBay for $55.










Aiwa SX-N3100 (Center)

- This is a 3-Way Bass Speaker. I use this for the center speaker due to the incredible bass and sound clarity.
- On my receiver, I have the center speaker's sound level at +8dB.
- This speaker came with a multimedia system my parents had in the 2000s, so I am unsure of the exact price, but I believe it costs around $35.










Sony SS-SR151 (x2, Rear Surround)

- These are 2-Way Surround Speakers.
- I have these mounted at the top left and right corners of my basement wall.
- I got these two speakers also from eBay for $35.












Aiwa TS-W45U (Subwoofer)

- This is a 40 Watt Active Powered Subwoofer.
- Believe me, this thing can and will get loud.
- I purchased this on eBay for $65.












Summary

- If you wish to purchase the exact same equipment as me, it would cost approximately $270 USD.
- I really love my setup, and I think it is perfect but that's just my opinion.
